6 heaping cups of air popped popcorn
(pop it yourself)
3/4 cups of chopped walnuts
3/4 cups of raisins
1 cup of Molasses
Popsicle Sticks

Put your popped popcorn in a large bowl. (I use just a drop of olive oil while popping my corn)  Add your walnuts and raisins, toss.  Boil molasses for 15 minutes. Lay wax paper out and lightly butter.  Pour in bowl and quickly stir to get all coated.
Butter your hands (work quickly) and roll balls. I inserted popsicle sticks in some. Some I left as balls.  You can make the balls large or small which ever suits your type of birds.

CaroleSue’s Edible Apple Rings
Dehydrated Apple Slices  ***
Small Plastic or Wooden Beads
Paulie Rope/Leather Strips/Cotton Rope/
SS (Stainless Steel) Wire
Your preference to string on or could use a SS Skewer
Quick Link or Plastic Ring to hang

If your apple slices don’t have a hole in the center, poke one using a nail.
Knot rope securely around Quick Link or Plastic ring. Begin threading, using approx. 5 apple slices then bead. Repeat until it’s filled up.  You can use any pattern of threading you desire.
You could also use SS wire and make it round.

*** It helps tremendously if you have an abandoned apple orchard nearby.  :-)
