Find safe, UNTREATED grapevine.  Make SURE it has not been sprayed or treated with any pesticides, chemicals, etc. Blow up a heavy-duty balloon the size you want the balls.  Soak the grapevine until it is soft and pliable.  Wrap the grapevine around the balloon in all different directions until it looks like you want it.
Let it dry completely and then burst the balloon.
‘Cheep’ Grapevine Balls.

Parrot Puzzles
Parrot Puzzle Toys are growing in popularity.  I found
2 at the Dollar Tree Store.  The package was called
“Bag of Fun” and came with 3 spinning tops.
All for only $1.00!!
                                          Thank You J. Kaye
I scour Thrift Shops & the Baby Section for suitable toys for my Fids. I am delighted when I can find the plastic keys to restring on leather. Wood blocks, hand rattles with loops , circle link type big beads and small wooden cars.
I toss them all on the top shelf of my dishwasher and let them go thru a regular wash cycle with the soap, then another full cycle with no soap. I have 2 Cockatoos who love foot toys like that. Just a hint for a Cheep Cheep toy.
                                                            Thank You Cat
